Xpresso is not, by itself, a physics engine. It is a node-based expression system for controlling parameters, processing values, and describing relationships. It does not look at a wheel and discover its weight. It does not observe friction or infer inertia. It only understands the relationships we choose to give it. Yet, with enough observation, it can convince us that it does. Realism is not built from every equation. It is built from the moments our eyes instinctively expect to see. Motion hesitates. Weight shifts. Balance quietly returns. None of these behaviors necessarily come from a traditional physics simulation. They are carefully choreographed observations. Not a recreation of reality, but of how reality appears. Observed behavior becomes believable behavior. Realism is rarely created by one complex system.
